Perche, images parlées is directed by Evelyne Wander, ethnologist and director of the Ecomuseum of Perche. Conceived from images shot by Eurelian filmmakers from the inter-war period to the 1980s, this film goes beyond a purely historical or chronological perspective. It offers a living portrait of the region of Perche and its actors, inscribed in a constant evolution of its practices and customs.

About The Sound :

The starting point of this documentary’s music was the sound recordings collected in the french countryside after the 2nd world war. Conversation sounds, horse hitch, tractor engines…. This sounds were used to create the landscape where the instruments play.
