In the not too distant future, an assembly of people gather in a sacred temple to hold a solemn ceremony: they celebrate the end of the digital era and the digital civilisation which has been leading humanity over the past decades.
This last goodbye is both a moment of contemplation and bewilderment, of excitation and strange fever, of hope for a society emancipated from the digital constraints and the fear of the unknown.
This fictional story takes the shape of a large-scale, site specific mixed-media art installation. It features both high and low-tech elements, such as 4 custom-made programmable LED structures, 2 lasers, 8 analog lightboxes with still-life photographs created specifically for this project.
The 12-channel soundtrack is composed by Loran Delforge, which features a poem (both audible and visible) written by Maud Marique.

About The Music :

The Music is a 12 minutes composition composed for electronics, vocals, and church organ. It has been recorded in the Temple Neuf in Metz and performed on a 12 independent channels 3D audio system in the Temple.
