Collaboration between visual artist Wilfried Della Rossa and electronic music producer Before Tigers a.k.a Laurent Delforge.
Minnk is an A/V installation co-produced by Mirage & Scopitone Festivals [FR] and Tetro.
Made of a 14 feet circular shaped projection screen and a 4 independent channels speakers system. Miink invites the audience to lie down below the screen and to drift from the widest space to a confined intimacy. The very magic of the piece dwells in the fact the screen actually goes slowly down from the ceiling getting progressively closer to the audience as the piece goes on, emphasising the impression of proximity and intimacy.

Description :

The whole soundtrack was composed as an 4 independent channels ambiophonic piece. The structure of the piece was written between sounds and visuals in an intimate exchange with the artist and a back and forth working process. Letting at times the visuals lead the sonic elements and at others, the music infuse its structure to the video content.
