The Eye is a large scale and immersive audiovisual installation which was created specifically to match the beautiful venue of the Grand Palais in Paris.
People were invited to walk through custom-made modules equipped with LED reminding the shape of the traditionnal jardin à la française, which could also be used a seating elements to enjoy the intense light and sound experience. The central screen, used as an abstract light source while the installation is running will eventually reveal the shape of the entire installation when seen from above: a gigantic eye, which seems to be the reflection from the architecture of the Grand Palais’ central dome.

About The Sound :

The whole soundtrack was composed as an 4 independent channels ambiophonic piece. The spatial and mixing composition was made on location to ensure the most immersive sonic experience possible.
For this project, music has been created following the structure of a pre-rendered video and dmx file.
Trying to find a musical logic fitting the one of the images, we did a last collaborative phase where music and lights re-shaped themselves to merge into each others.
