About The Music :

In the vibrant city of Bamako, a remarkable musical composition took shape over the course of a year, born from a one-month residency that quietly unfolded. Belgian electronic producer Before Tigers, together with a group of exceptionally talented Malian musicians, including Alassane Samaké, Adama Sidibé, Zack Prod, Wassa Kouyaté, and Fatoumata Maïga, joined forces. They welcomed the invaluable contributions of French composer and None partner Simon Thiérrée.

This collaboration gave rise to a musical creation that defies easy classification - a humble, yet extraordinary blend. It gracefully interlaces the intricate electronic nuances of Before Tigers with the rich, rhythmic, and melodic tapestry of traditional Malian instruments.

Within this unassuming fusion lies an electrifying soundscape, a quiet and transcendent journey that embodies both contemporary sensibilities and the deep-rooted cultural traditions of Mali. This music composition forms the heart and soul of a breathtaking contemporary dance performance, inviting all to witness the magic born from an artistic collaboration that we’ve once again been blessed with.
