Pandora gives in 4 stories of 20 minutes an image of the current zeitgeist with contradictions, bullying, hatred and yet again affection. The four female dancers take you on their journey as spectators. An evening full of swirl and emotion. An intensive and special experience through the alternation of tranquil moments and aggressive dance power.
What comes out of that box that we all have opened ?
PANDORA is an intensive and immersive evening through the alternation of poetic stillness and aggressive dance. Vrouenraets sets four charismatic dancers on stage, each of which emobody the theme of love versus violance in reference to their original cultural background: Mami Izumi from Japan, Maïté Guérin from France, Anna Senognoeva from Russia and Roshanak Morrowatian from Iran.

About The Music :

Music was composed within an intricate collaboration between choreographer Joost Vrouenraets and composer Loran Delforge. Letting at times the music to take the lead on the movements construction and at others, the choreographical narrative gives the drive and the instructions to the music.
